Every year, Barclaycard presents British Summer Time. A series of events showcasing some of the world’s biggest music acts across two weeks in London’s Hyde Park.

It is one of the world’s leading summer festivals with headliners including Roger Waters, The Cure, Eric Clapton, Michael Buble, Bruno Mars and Paul Simon.

Event overview

The world’s premier urban music festival.

  • Filmily went along to record The Cure. One of Britain’s most influential and distinctive bands, who helped shape the post punk musical landscape in the UK.
  • The event was perfect for fans and the band cemented their mortality and saw the goths leave the gates of Hyde Park on the highest of highs.
  • Our brief was to capture the fan experience and show how the day was more than just the music.
  • We created some very atmospheric content, combining the crowds with live footage of the band.
  • During the event 560 clips were filmed producing 20 campaign film.
